Gerald Hiestand

Dr. Gerald Hiestand is the Senior Pastor of Calvary Memorial Church in Oak Park (Chicago), and served as the Executive Director of the Center for Pastor Theologians from 2006-2019. He now serves as the CPT’s board chair. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in theology, and a Ph.D. in Classics from the University of Reading. Gerald has written and edited a number books, including The Pastor Theologian (Zondervan), Becoming a Pastor Theologian (IVP Academic), Beauty, Order and Mystery (IVP Academic), and Justification (Baker Academic, forthcoming). He is also the general editor of the CPT’s Bulletin of Ecclesial Theology.
