David Wilmington
Dr. David Wilmington is an interdisciplinary scholar working in theology, ethics, philosophy, arts, and culture. His work draws from patristic and medieval authors, with a focus on St. Bonaventure and virtues ethics, in conversation with literature, music (especially Jazz), the mystical tradition and contemporary critical theory. He has a background in music — saxophone performance, composition, arranging, and improvisation — and holds advanced degrees in theology from Duke and Baylor.
